Az atmen–ziehen–drücken–blasen–singen (lélegzés-húzás-nyomás-fújás-éneklés) – in memoriam Uwe Dierksen – címe a harsonán történő polifón játéklehetőségekre utal. A címben említett játéktechnikák a harsona megszólaltatásának természetes módjai, a darabban kombinációkban és egymástól függetlenül is megjelennek.

is based on the idea of polyphonic thinking and playing  on trombone. The playing technics mentioned in the title are the natural parts of trombone-playing, although in this piece they are often used independently from each other. The motivic usage is also important in the piece and the sound world of the piece is based on the combination of those playing technics.
